Vyacheslav Khavrus

Head of laboratory facilities at SmartNanotubes Technologies

Vyacheslav Khavrus has worked in several research-focused roles since 1995. Vyacheslav began their career as a Senior Scientific Researcher and PhD student at the L.V. Pisarzhevsky Institute of Physical Chemistry in Kiev, Ukraine. Vyacheslav then served as a Scientific Researcher at IFW-Dresden from 2009 to 2014, and a Scientific Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they became the Technology Leader at Life Science Inkubator Sachsen GmbH & Co. KG, and in 2020, they were appointed Head of Laboratory Facilities at SmartNanotubes Technologies. Vyacheslav has also held various visiting roles at Jagiellonian University, Universität Würzburg, and the Institute of Physical Chemistry in Warsaw, Poland.

Vyacheslav Khavrus obtained a Dr.rer.nat. in Physical Chemistry from the L.V. Pisarzhevsky Institute of Physical Chemistry in Kiev, Ukraine between 1995 and 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree (Diploma with honours) in Chemical Engineering and Computer Chemistry from the NTTU "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" between 1989 and 1995. Before that, they attended High school Nr. 15 in Olexandriya, Ukraine from 1987 to 1989. In addition, Vyacheslav Khavrus has obtained several certifications, including Erste Hilfe Ausbildung from the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK), Ortsverein Letmathe in October 2017, Sicherheitsschulung: Sicheres Betreiben von Gasversorgunsanlagen from Linde in March 2016, Certificate of Reviewing from Elsevier in November 2014, Spring School "Unternehmerische Kompetenz" from Dresden Exists in April 2014, and Certificate of Appreciation from the American Chemical Society in December 2011.
