Jie Yang

Jie Yang currently serves as the Head of Global FP&A at SmartNews since June 2024. Prior to this role, Jie Yang held various finance leadership positions at ByteDance, including Head of Finance APAC and Head of Finance for Global Content/Marketing in North America, from May 2021 to May 2024. Jie Yang's experience also includes a tenure as Finance Lead at Takeda, where responsibilities encompassed external supply finance and budget management. At Fast Retailing, Jie Yang functioned as the Regional Financial Controller, overseeing financial reviews and budget creation. Early career milestones include roles in FP&A at Hitachi Metals and as an accountant at KBS. Jie Yang holds an MBA in Finance & Accounting from Kwansei Gakuin University and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
