Ed Yip

Ed Yip began their work experience in 2005 as a Product Development Manager at Funmobile and remained in this role until 2009. Ed then joined SmarTone in 2009 as a Senior Specialist until 2012, when they transitioned to HKT as an Assistant Product Manager. At HKT, their responsibilities included internet and mobile product planning, collecting requirements, designs, and implementation. Ed also served as the product owner for consumer VAS products and the company's website. In 2018, Ed returned to SmarTone as a Team Lead and Product Development Manager.

Ed Yip graduated from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2004 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Ed Yip obtained a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Global Association for Quality Management (GAQM) in 2021. Ed also holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from SGS (obtained in 2018) and an Agile PM Foundation certification from APMG International (obtained in 2015). Additionally, Ed Yip has a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
