Fabrizio Carcillo, PhD

Fabrizio Carcillo, PhD has a strong background in machine learning and data analysis. Fabrizio is currently the Head of Machine Learning at Smartpricing, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at NTT DATA Italia as a BigData & Machine Learning Analyst from December 2018 to February 2021. Fabrizio also has experience as a Machine Learning Expert at the Machine Learning Group ULB from June 2018 to December 2018. Fabrizio completed their PhD in Scalable Machine Learning for Fraud Detection at the same institution, where they also worked as a PhD student in Bioinformatics and Machine Learning from October 2013 to April 2015. Before pursuing their PhD, they worked as a Market Research Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services from May 2012 to October 2013.

Fabrizio Carcillo, PhD has a Bachelor's degree in Economy and Computer Science from Università degli Studi 'Gabriele d'Annunzio' di Chieti, which they obtained between 2005 and 2009. Fabrizio further pursued higher education and completed a Master's degree in Information Systems for business and finance from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna between 2010 and 2013.
