Emilija Sapagovaitė

Emilija Sapagovaitė's work experience begins in 2018 when they worked as a Translator at Inconvenient Films Festival, subtitling films from English to Lithuanian. Emilija also took on a role as an Intern at VŠĮ “Visos Mūzos”, where they learned subtitling skills and presented their first translated work on the big screen. In 2018, they also worked as a Translator at "Aktikon Oü", a remote translation company.

In 2019, Emilija worked as a Translator-Subtitler at Vilnius International Film Festival KINO PAVASARIS, where they gained high levels of responsibility by subtitling films in front of a large audience. Emilija also had roles as a Translator-Subtitler at VŠĮ “Visos Mūzos” and Inconvenient Films Festival during the same year.

In 2019, they joined Hostinger International as an IT Customer Success Specialist, providing 24/7 customer support and helping clients with web-hosting related questions and issues. Emilija also ensured the proper functioning of clients' websites and assisted with SEO optimization.

Moving on to 2020, Emilija worked as a Junior Compliance Specialist and an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist at SpectroCoin, assisting with compliance-related tasks.

Emilija Sapagovaitė has a diverse education history. In 2021 to 2022, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology at the University of Glasgow. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2019, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Translation at Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University. In 2017, Emilija also studied English philology as part of their Bachelor's degree at Università degli Studi di Parma.
