Ben Reeder has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ben currently holds the position of Technical Lead at Smartr365 since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Development Manager at Symphony EYC from March 2015 to October 2021, where they were responsible for architecting microservices and leading a team in the development of scalable systems using web-based technologies and Azure DevOps. Ben also worked at Experian, where they served as a Junior Software Development Lead from September 2013 to March 2015 and completed a two-year Graduate Training Scheme from September 2011 to September 2013, gaining experience in quality assurance and software development. Ben began their career at GlaxoSmithKline as a Service and Support Analyst, managing video conferencing and web broadcasting technologies and resolving related issues from June 2009 to July 2010. Additionally, Ben volunteered as a Childcare Worker at YMCA England for four years before joining the organization officially from June 2005 to September 2007, demonstrating effective communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills. Ben also worked at DSG International as a Sales Assistant, progressing to the role of Customer Service Assistant and developing strong team working abilities from September 2004 to September 2007.
Ben Reeder attended Loughborough University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computing and Management. In 2012, they also obtained several certifications including Requirements Engineering from BCS in November, Business Analysis Practice from BCS in September, IS Project Management from BCS in August, and PRINCE2 Foundation from PRINCE2 in June.
