Wyron Bobis

Wyron Bobis has a solid background in operations and logistics management, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Wyron most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Operations at SmartRent, where they assumed the role in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Carvana as the Head of Logistics and Head of Logistics Field Operations from April 2021 to December 2022. Before joining Carvana, they were the Principal Consultant at Silver Lining AZ from April 2019 to April 2021, where they developed key performance indicators and provided guidance on lean management systems.

From 2015 to 2019, Bobis served as the SVP of Operations & Analytics at Swift Transportation, where they implemented a Lean Management System across all functions and led large-scale process improvements. Wyron also held the position of VP of Business Transformation from 2011 to 2015, during which they developed and implemented the Lean Management System in multiple teams, resulting in significant performance improvements. Additionally, they served as a Senior Business Transformation Leader at Swift Transportation from 2008 to 2011, where they achieved notable operational improvements in port operations and driver orientation dropouts.

Earlier in their career, Bobis worked as a Plant Manager at Graham Packaging in 2007, where they focused on instilling a safety-first culture and implementing total productive maintenance. Prior to that, they held various roles at Parker Hannifin from 2000 to 2006, including Business Unit Manager for Clifton Forge Operations, Transmissions, and Composites. Wyron also served as the Division Lean/Continuous Improvement Manager and as a Continuous Improvement Specialist/Six Sigma Black Belt at Parker Hannifin. Overall, Bobis has a track record of driving performance improvements and implementing lean and continuous improvement methodologies in various organizations.

Wyron Bobis holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Additionally, Wyron is also a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) obtained from the Scrum Alliance, although the specific month and year of certification are not provided.
