Alex Jansen

Alex Jansen is a highly experienced product manager and engineer with a strong background in leading innovative product strategies and design initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Smartsheet, Alex has successfully launched AI capabilities for Brandfolder, significantly enhancing user satisfaction. Previously at Google, Alex played a pivotal role in the major UI redesign for Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive, impacting over 1 billion users. Alex’s experience spans various leadership positions, including Lead Product Manager at Neat Capital, where strategic planning resulted in substantial growth in loan volume, and earlier roles as a software engineer at Nest and Google, focusing on mobile experiences and user-centered design. Alex holds a Master's degree in Information Science, with a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction, from the University of Washington.
