Jo Deal

Jo Deal is an accomplished Chief People Officer currently leading the global people strategy at Smartsheet since April 2024, after a brief consulting period in early 2024. Prior to Smartsheet, Jo held the same title at GoTo (formerly LogMeIn) from September 2017 to March 2024, where responsibilities included enhancing talent development and engagement during significant corporate transitions. Jo's experience also includes being a Chief Member at Chief, an organization dedicated to empowering women leaders, and serving as Head of HR for the mobility application business unit at Citrix's GetGo division. With a robust foundation in human resources from Informatica and prior roles ranging from HR Manager to SVP, Jo has demonstrated expertise in crafting talent strategies and driving organizational growth across various industries. Jo holds a BA(Hons) in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.
