Stefan Hetges

Stefan Hetges has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology industry. Stefan is the Managing Director and Founder of smartShift, where they have been instrumental in the company's growth since 2002. Stefan also served as the Chairman of smartShift Group from 2015 to 2023. Prior to that, Stefan was the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of smartShift from 2010 to 2015. Stefan was also the CEO of Cambridge Technology Enterprises from 2010 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as CEO of Razorfish Germany and Managing Director of Razorfish Frankfurt. Stefan started their career as a Software Engineer at Open Environment Corporation in 1991. Stefan has a strong background in leadership and technology.

Stefan Hetges obtained a Master's degree in Technische Informatik from HTWG Hochschule Konstanz – Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung from 1987 to 1991. Prior to that, they completed their Abitur at Technisches Gymnasium Balingen.
