Richard Childers

Richard Childers has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as Senior Vice President Regulation W Officer at Manufacturers Bank since December 2021. Prior to this role, Richard held various leadership positions at BBVA in the USA from 2002 to 2021, including VP of Accounting, where responsibilities encompassed managing a $1+ billion property portfolio and overseeing $125 million in annual projects, along with compliance in accordance with Federal Reserve Regulation W. Earlier career experiences included positions at Sterne Agee, UnitedHealthcare, Collateral Mortgage, Secor Bank, and Vesta Insurance Inc., showcasing a strong foundation in financial reporting, analysis, and team management. Richard holds an MBA and a BS in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
