Carl Jason Correa

Carl Jason Correa possesses extensive experience in the power generation industry, currently serving as the Operations Commissioning Shift Lead at San Miguel Global Power since June 2019, where responsibilities include the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of equipment and processes. Previously, Carl held the position of Operations Shift Superintendent, overseeing the operation of power plants with a combined capacity of 1,023MW. Prior to this, Carl worked at The AES Corporation from May 2012 to June 2019 in various roles, including Expansion Project O&M Commissioning Team Leader and Operations Coal Handling Team Leader. Carl also has experience as a Safety Engineer, focusing on the implementation of safety management systems. Earlier experience includes positions as a Balance of Plant Operator and Plant Operator at SMCGPHC and Panasia Energy Holdings Inc. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Mapúa University, obtained in 2008.
