Ilia Russkikh

Ilia Russkikh is an Electrical Engineer at SMC Corporation (UK) since March 2022, specializing in industrial communication protocols and IIoT technologies, along with application development and embedded systems. Previous experience includes a project intern role at SMC Corporation (UK), where software automation for pressure sensor calibration was developed, and internships in software/mechanical engineering at REM and COIL Ltd, involving PLC programming and machine installation. Ilia's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southampton and participation in the EIT Digital Master’s Programme in Embedded Systems at Technische Universität Berlin, complemented by business leadership training at MIT Sloan School of Management. Additionally, Ilia has experience in music as a lead vocalist and guitarist in a pop-punk band and has served as a prefect, actively engaging fellow students in college life.
