Mohamed Harunani

Mohamed Harunani has a diverse work experience in the dental and healthcare industry. MOHAMED currently holds the position of Vice President of Clinical Support at Smile Brands Inc. since December 2021. Prior to this, they were a partner at Apex Dental Laboratory Group starting from 2016. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Fertility Basics.

Before their role at Fertility Basics, Mohamed held various positions at Midwest Dental from 2005 to 2021, including Director of Clinical Education, Director of Clinical Education and Quality Assurance, and Dental Director. MOHAMED was also actively involved in the Academy of General Dentistry, serving as Treasurer from 2014 to 2018 and as a Trustee from 2006 to 2013.

Earlier in their career, Mohamed Harunani was a Dentist/Partner at Harunani Dental Clinics from 1987 to 2005.

Mohamed Harunani completed their Bachelor's degree in Pre-dental from Dallas Baptist University from 1980 to 1982. MOHAMED then attended Northwestern University Dental School from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained their DDS degree in Dentistry. Subsequently, they pursued further education in Advanced General Dentistry at Cook County Hospital from 1986 to 1987. From 1986 to 1991, they attended the Academy of General Dentistry and received a FAGD degree in General Dentistry. Afterward, they enrolled at the Academy of General Dentistry from 1991 to 1994 and obtained a MAGD degree in Advanced General Dentistry. Additionally, they completed a Fellowship in Dentistry at the Academy of Dentistry International from 1995 to 1996. Lastly, they acquired an LLSR #1 degree in Advanced General Dentistry from the Academy of General Dentistry from 2004 to 2007.
