Smile Education
Catherine Kuruye is currently a Teaching Assistant at Smile Education, where responsibilities include managing classroom behavior and supporting students' individual needs, contributing to improved listening and communication skills. Previously, Catherine served as an Agricultural Extension Officer/N-agro Trainee at Agricultural Development Program, providing guidance and technical advice in the fisheries sector to enhance productivity and sustainability. Catherine also held the position of Office Assistant during a tenure at the National Youth Service Corps, focusing on administrative support and office management. Educational qualifications include an upcoming Doctor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Gloucestershire, a Master's in International Business from Ulster University, a Bachelor's in Fisheries from the University of Port Harcourt, and O’Levels from Milly International Academy.

We call ourselves Smile because that's what we try to make people do! Established in 2009, Smile Education was set up to provide a personal, local service with the emphasis on choosing the most suitable person for each opportunity. We are thrilled today to be able to say that we continue to reach and exceed our original goals. We take pride in providing the best teachers in the local areas and work closely with a wide variety of schools, supporting them in any way we can. A number of our team are parents themselves and consequently safeguarding is an indispensable part of everything we do. We pride ourselves in only placing staff in positions where we would be comfortable if our own children were being educated, and we always exceed DFE guidelines. To ensure that we maintain and improve our standards we continue to develop and grow our staff by providing ongoing training and guidance. With the continued support of our fantastic teachers, we are sure we will be making schools Smile for many years to come!
