Intekhab Islam

Intekhab Islam is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since August 2025, while also pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering. Prior experience includes working as a Project Manager at Renata PLC from February 2021 to July 2025, focusing on capacity utilization analysis and the design of cleanroom HVAC systems. Intekhab previously held the position of Research Assistant at Fachhochschule Südwestfalen, where a semi-supervised anomaly detection algorithm for industrial process data was developed. Initial experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at Renata PLC, which involved planning and procurement, following a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management from Fachhochschule Südwestfalen. Educational qualifications also include a Higher Secondary Certificate and a Secondary School Certificate, both completed in Dhaka.
