Bill Curtis

Bill Curtis began their career in 2007 as a Software Engineering Assistant at Oculus Info Inc. In 2008, they worked as a Software Developer and Embedded Software Developer at the Department of National Defence. In 2009, they were a Software Developer at Platform Computing. In 2010, they worked at Amazon.com as a Cloudfront Software Engineer and at Amazon in Orange County as an Amazon Appstore Engineer. Since 2011, they have been the CTO at Smile.io, where they have been building product using Heroku, Postgres, Rails, Ember.js, Github, and CircleCI.

Bill Curtis obtained a Bachelor of Software Engineering, Honours, Co-op from the University of Waterloo in 2011. Bill also earned a Magento Certified Developer certification from Magento, an Adobe Company in October 2011.
