Ed Fricker has over 10 years of professional experience in the technology industry. From 2006-2008, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Principal and Consultant at Screwfix Direct. From 2008-2011, they were a Principal and Consultant at FireWave Media. From 2011-2015, they worked as a UK Development Lead and Senior Developer/Agile & XP Innovator at WDS. From 2015-2016, they were a Senior DevOps Engineer at Creatubbles\u2122, a Customer Support Operations Lead at Intercom, and a Senior Software Engineer at Inteliquent. From 2018-2019, they were a Cosplayer/Model/Crafter at Beast Awakens. Currently, they are a Principal Software Engineer at Convox and is set to become a Senior DevOps Engineer at Smile Identity in 2022.

Ed Fricker attended the University of Southampton from 2000 to 2003 and obtained an Associate Degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Shaftesbury from 1995 to 2000.
