Kerrie Buhagiar

Kerrie Buhagiar is the Director of Major Program Delivery at Smiling Mind, a position they have held since January 2020.

Previously, Kerrie was the Director of Service Delivery at ReachOut Australia from January 2012 to January 2020. In this role, Kerrie was responsible for leading the organisation's service delivery teams and overseeing the development and implementation of high quality services for ReachOut's clients.

Prior to their time at ReachOut, Kerrie was the Modernisation Manager at NHS Lothian from August 2007 to December 2011. In this role, Kerrie led various health service improvement initiatives across a range of services, including diagnostics, cancer services, sexual health, mental health, community care and acute settings. Kerrie also delivered organisation-wide training in service/process improvement methodologies, building capacity and capability across the workforce of 35,000 staff.

Before their time at NHS Lothian, Kerrie was a Project Manager at NHS from June 2005 to July 2007. In this role, they managed the South East Scotland Cancer Network, a regional network of cancer care providers.

Kerrie Buhagiar has a Master's Degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Melbourne, a PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Biomedical Sciences, General from the University of Technology Sydney. Kerrie also has a Master of Business Administration - MBA from the Australian Institute of Management.

Their manager is Addie Wootten, CEO. They work with Kelly Zheng - Junior Graphic Designer, Timothy Thomaidis - Project Manager, and Michael Hines - Lead Facilitator & Content Manager.
