David Smith

David Smith has had a long and successful career in sales and business development. David began their career in 1989 at Xerox, where they held the role of Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager, and Principal of Global Document Outsourcing. In 2014, they moved to Sharp Business USA as a Managed Services Specialist. In 2016, they became the Western Region Director of Sales at TZ Limited, where they provided pre and post sale support for corporate, residential, and higher ed clients. In 2017, they returned to Smiota as Senior Sales Director, helping clients manage package deliveries and accountable mail efficiently and securely. David currently holds the role of Senior Director of Sales and Business Development at Smiota.

David Smith has a well-rounded educational background. David obtained an MBA from Fordham Gabelli School of Business in 1987, majoring in Management and Statistics. Prior to that, they earned a BS in Economics from Rutgers University in 1981. David also has several certifications, including a WSET Level 2 Wine certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust obtained in 2020, ITIL v3 from ITIL Certified obtained in 2013, Challenger Sales from CEB, now Gartner obtained in 2013, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the International Standard for Lean Six Sigma (ISLSS) obtained in 2009.
