Sandrien Bennebroek

Sandrien Bennebroek has extensive work experience in various legal and managerial roles. Sandrien most recently served as the General Counsel and Head of Legal, Insurance, and Compliance at Smit Lamnalco, where they were responsible for the global legal department. Prior to that, they held senior legal counsel positions at Boskalis, Huisman Equipment B.V., and IHC Merwede Holding B.V. Sandrien also gained experience in risk management contracting as a Senior Officer at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Additionally, they served as a board member at Netzwerk Privatbahnen and worked as a general counsel at ERS Railways B.V. Sandrien began their career as a lawyer at Nederlandse Spoorwegen and Boonk Van Leeuwen Advocaten. Sandrien Bennebroek is a highly experienced legal professional with a strong background in the maritime and transportation sectors.

Sandrien Bennebroek completed their LL.M. in Dutch Law, Maritime Law, and Air and Space Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1989 to 1996. In 2011, they pursued a Postgraduate Education in Transport Law (cum laude) at Grotius Academie. Sandrien also attended McGill University in 1995, with a focus on Air and Space Law and Maritime Law. Before their university studies, from 1983 to 1989, Sandrien Bennebroek attended College Hageveld. Additionally, they completed a professional training program for lawyers, known as Beroepsopleiding Advocaten, from 1998 to 2000.
