Stuart Snell

Stuart Snell is a seasoned marine engineer with extensive experience in the maritime sector. Currently employed at Smit Lamnalco since June 2016, Stuart's roles include Marine Engineer and Casual General Purpose Hand at various platforms within the Gladstone Port. Prior to this, experience includes positions as Master, Mate, Engineer, and Deckhand at Sealink Travel Group from December 2012 to January 2020, and as a Marine Technician in the Royal Australian Navy from January 2009 to January 2013, where skills in maintenance, fitting, machining, and refrigeration were developed. Early career experience includes working as a Machinist TA at AusProof Pty Ltd in 2008. Stuart's educational background encompasses a Diploma in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from TAFE NSW, a Certificate III in Maritime Operations from TAFE East Coast, and several qualifications in engineering and refrigeration from Ultimo TAFE and the Royal Australian Navy.
