Jacob Tang

Jacob Tang is an experienced payroll and HR operations professional, currently serving as Payroll Service Delivery Team Manager for the APAC region at Smith+Nephew since September 2022. Previously, Jacob held the position of Associate Manager Customer Support at Ascender HCM from September 2021 to August 2022, where responsibilities included leading the payroll team. Jacob's extensive tenure at BHP from July 2009 to July 2021 involved roles such as Lead HR Payroll Operations, overseeing a team of 30 payroll processors for multiple countries, and Lead HR Time & Attendance, focused on process efficiency. Earlier experience includes positions at Lenovo as a Purchase Order Administrator and administrative roles focused on statutory reporting.
