Group Strategy And Finance Director at Smith&Smith®

Martin Fairweather has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Martin started their career as an Operational Research Analyst at Nestle in 1994. Martin then worked at Coopers & Lybrand as a Senior Accountant from 1996 to 1997. From 1997 to 2005, they held various roles at PA Consulting Group, both as a Managing Consultant and a Director. In 2006, they joined New Zealand Post Group as the Head of Retail Strategy and later became the Group Strategy Executive/Group Channel Manager. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at ATEED (Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development) as the General Manager of Strategy and Corporate Services. In 2014, they briefly served as the Head of Corporate Strategy and Performance at Bank of New Zealand. In 2015, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Auckland Tourism, Events & Economic Development (ATEED). Martin also served as an Advisory Board Member at Board Dynamics from 2011 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Group Strategy and Finance Director at Smith&Smith® since 2019.

Martin Fairweather attended Moorclose High School in Middleton, Manchester from 1988 to 1990. After completing their secondary education, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science with Honors degree in Mathematics at The University of Salford from 1992 to 1996.
