Brenda Dreier

Brenda Dreier, CMP, CAE has over 30 years of work experience in the event management and association industry. Brenda is currently working as the Conference Operations Director at Smithbucklin since 2022. Previously, they held various roles at SLAS (Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening) from 2010 to 2021, including Chief Operating Officer, Associate Executive Director, Interim CEO, and Director of Global Events. Prior to that, they served as the President of Indigo Event Management from 2002 to 2010. Brenda also worked as a Meeting Planner at the American Association of School Librarians and as the Director of Event Management at the Association for Laboratory Automation. Brenda began their career as a Meeting Manager at the International Tandem Users' Group and later became a Group Manager at SmithBucklin.

Brenda Dreier, CMP, CAE holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business from DePaul University. Additionally, they are a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), obtained from the Events Industry Council in December 2000, and a Certified Association Executive (CAE), obtained from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in December 2020.
