Dawn Pickett

Dawn Pickett has extensive work experience in the food industry. Dawn started their career in 2001 at ConAgra Foods as a Quality Assurance Technician and later became a Quality Assurance Supervisor. In 2006, they joined Smithfield Foods as the Corporate Senior Director of Food Safety and later became the Vice President of Food Safety and Quality Assurance in May 2021. Dawn'sexperience spans over two decades with a focus on food safety and quality assurance.

Dawn Pickett holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Leadership and Change Management from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Dawn also has a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Microbiology, Immunology and Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1997 to 2001.
