Lena Bowland

Lena Bowland is an accomplished strategic sourcing professional with extensive experience in procurement and sourcing across various industries. Currently serving as a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Smithfield Foods since May 2025, Lena previously held positions at Busch Vacuum Solutions, where roles included Sr. Sourcing Buyer for indirect, MRO, and CAPEX categories, and Sourcing Buyer. Prior experience includes working as a Procurement/Sourcing Specialist II at Thermo Fisher Scientific and a Sourcing Specialist at Valley Proteins Inc. Earlier career roles also encompass purchasing and merchandising positions at Capitol Building Supply Inc., Annandale Millwork and Allied Systems, and The Home Depot. Lena holds an MBA from Strayer University and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Shenandoah University, complemented by an Associate degree from Laurel Ridge Community College.
