Tejay Asbury

Tejay Asbury, MBA, has a diverse work experience covering various roles and responsibilities. Tejay currently works as the Director of Operations Finance at Smithfield Foods since May 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Plant Controller at Schwan's Company from August 2019 to May 2020. Tejay also has extensive experience in Smithfield Foods, where they held positions such as Plant Controller, Assistant Controller, Plant Cost Accountant, and Inventory Control Manager. Notably, in their role as Inventory Control Manager, they successfully led the implementation of a SAP greenfield launch, resulting in significant cost savings and increased efficiency. Additionally, Tejay served in the Army National Guard as an Infantry from February 2002 to February 2008.

Tejay Asbury, MBA completed their Master of Business Administration in Operations Management from the University of Scranton from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they attained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their degrees, Tejay Asbury also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma, including Green Belt, White Belt, and Yellow Belt, obtained in 2018 from the Aveta Business Institute.
