Alicia Adams

Alicia Adams is a Resilient Climate Strategist at SmithGroup since February 2014, specializing in the integration of landscape architecture, urban planning, and resilient design to address climate change impacts across various scales. Alicia leads the Detroit urban design studio, managing complex projects and contributing to redevelopment and open space strategies. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant in Historic Landscape Preservation at Iowa State University and as a Landscape Design Intern at Sara Carpenter- Steve's Ace Home and Garden. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University.
