Luke Renwick

Luke Renwick, IALD, CLD, is a Senior Principal at SmithGroup since August 2010, co-leading the national Lighting Design specialty service. With a focus on providing innovative lighting design solutions, Luke integrates lighting within design to enhance user experience, ensuring that solutions are grounded in a cohesive design concept. Previously, Luke served as a Daylighting Researcher at Penn State University, where daylighting studies were conducted to analyze the impact of ceiling geometry on daylight exposure, contributing to a research paper for a major manufacturer in the architectural ceiling industry. Before this role, Luke gained experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Burt Hill and holds a B.A.E. in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University, obtained in 2010.
