Brian Ikkanda

Brian Ikkanda's work experience includes being a Data Analytics Specialist at SmithRx since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Analyst/Data Scientist Fellow at Modern Data Lab from May 2022 to April 2023.

Before transitioning to data analytics, Brian was an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Concordia University Irvine from July 2020 to May 2022, and an Assistant Professor of Chemistry from August 2018 to June 2020.

Brian also served as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Concordia University Texas from July 2016 to June 2018.

Brian gained teaching and research experience at The University of Texas at Austin. Brian worked as a Head Teaching Assistant from August 2012 to May 2016, Graduate Research Assistant from August 2009 to May 2016, and Teaching Assistant from August 2011 to May 2012. Brian also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from August 2008 to May 2009 and from July 2007 to May 2009. Lastly, they served as a Graduate Student Instructor from June 2008 to August 2008 and from June 2007 to August 2007 at UC Berkeley.

Brian Ikkanda completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, starting in 2005 and finishing in 2009. Brian then pursued higher education and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin between 2009 and 2016.

Additionally, Brian obtained several certifications, including "Introduction to Machine Learning" from Anaconda, Inc. in January 2023, "Brian Ikkanda" from HackerRank in July 2022, "Advanced Google Analytics" from Google in November 2022, "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google in October 2022, and "dbt Fundamentals" from dbt Labs in October 2022.
