Jana Stepankova

Jana Stepankova has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Jana began their career as an Operations Lead in a private catering chain in the UK from September 2003 to December 2004. Jana then worked as a Recruiter and Branch Lead at Pragma Recruitment Agency from March 2005 to October 2006. Jana joined Smiths Group plc (John Crane Division) in November 2006 as a Site/Regional HR Manager for East Europe. Jana worked in this role for five years until September 2011 when they became the Director of HR Shared Services for East Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Smiths Group plc. Jana held this position for six years until September 2017. From October 2017 to September 2018, they served as the HR Director for Global Service Improvement/Communication at Smiths Group plc. Jana then transitioned to be the Director of HR PMO at Smiths Group plc from October 2018 to November 2021. Jana subsequently held positions as the HR Director for TA & PMO, HR Director for Global TA & Compliance, and Director of Employee Engagement & HR Compliance at Smiths Group plc from November 2021 to April 2022, April 2022 to September 2022, and September 2022 (ongoing), respectively.

Jana Stepankova obtained their Master's degree in Economics and Finance from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava between the years 1998 and 2003. Jana also has additional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from Smiths Group plc in 2022, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Smiths Group plc in 2021, Successful Post-merger Integration from The Merger Training Institute in 2020, and Smiths HR Leadership Academy from CEB, now Gartner, in 2012.
