Robert Schoengold

Robert Schoengold, MBA, has a comprehensive background in finance and operations, with a focus on driving growth, improving financial controls, and implementing transformational projects.

Robert most recently served as the Director of FP&A and Business Partnering at Smiths Interconnect, where they are responsible for financial planning and analysis and providing strategic guidance to the business.

Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in business transformation. During this time, they successfully managed banking consolidation projects and implemented intercompany accounts payable systems, resulting in improved financial controls and simplified accounting processes. Robert also played a key role in automating financial reporting processes and expanding reporting capabilities.

Before becoming an Independent Consultant, Schoengold held the position of Vice President, Finance and Controller at Sanmina. In this role, they led the finance and accounting functions for five divisions, driving investment, profitability, and team building. Robert achieved significant margin improvement by reducing unprofitable business and implementing operational improvements. Robert also played a pivotal role in transforming the server-storage business from a loss-making division to a profitable growth trajectory.

Schoengold has also served as an Independent Consultant for various projects, including Nortek Security & Control and Southeastern Metal Products. In these roles, they were responsible for redesigning supply-chain models, upgrading accounting policies and procedures, and restating financial statements.

Earlier in their career, Schoengold held leadership positions at Nortek, where they served as Vice President of Finance and Operations and Senior Director of Operations Finance. In these roles, they led transformative projects, achieved significant cost savings, and drove acquisition integrations.

At Flextronics Consumer Products, Schoengold held the positions of Senior Director of Finance and Business Unit Controller. In these roles, they managed financial planning and operational results and successfully completed acquisition and integration activities.
