Cole Johnson

Cole Johnson currently serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, a position held since March 2015. Johnson has held various roles within the Smithsonian Institution, including Senior Major Gifts Officer and Division Director for Advancement & Partnerships. Prior to the Smithsonian, Johnson was Executive Director at both the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation and the Headwaters Foundation. Cole Johnson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from American University.
