Smithsonian Institution
Diana Greenwold currently serves as the Interim Associate Director for Curatorial Affairs at the Smithsonian Institution and holds the position of Lunder Curator of American Art at Smithsonian's Freer and Sackler Galleries since September 2021. Diana has extensive experience in curatorial roles, including time as Curator of American Art at the Portland Museum of Art and as a Douglass Fellow at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in History of Art and an M.A. in History of Art from the University of California, Berkeley, alongside a B.A. from Yale University. Additional involvement includes consulting for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and participating in a summer institute focused on museum anthropology at the Smithsonian Institution.
