Trip Leader - Smithsonian Student Journeys at Smithsonian Institution

Graham Lau is a Research Scientist at the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science, actively contributing to an international community focused on sustainable futures and public scientific engagement since October 2017. In addition, Graham serves as the Director of Communications and Marketing at Blue Marble Space, where responsibilities include social media strategy, product marketing, and content development. As the host of "Ask an Astrobiologist," Graham engages with fellow astrobiologists in monthly livestream discussions. Other notable roles include Trip Leader for Smithsonian Student Journeys and National Geographic Student Expeditions, as well as contributions to the Network for Life Detection and Sciworthy as a staff writer. With a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences and Astrobiology from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a background in biology and chemistry, Graham has a solid foundation in both research and communication within the fields of astrobiology and geological sciences.
