Jay Kaveeshwar

Jay Kaveeshwar has extensive experience in leadership roles within prominent institutions, primarily at the Smithsonian Institution since 2004, where positions have included Deputy Director Emeritus and Deputy Director of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. Kaveeshwar has managed significant budgets, overseeing diverse museum functions and enhancing revenue-generating activities, while also serving as Senior Advisor to the Director at the National Museum of American History, leading major initiatives and financial decisions. Previous roles include managing financial operations for a broad portfolio at the Smithsonian and strategic analysis for Fortune 500 companies. Kaveeshwar holds a Magna Cum Laude A.B. degree in Biology from Dartmouth College.
