Lauren McCunney

Lauren McCunney is an experienced architect and design manager with a robust professional background. Currently serving as the Architect + Design Manager at the Smithsonian Institution since July 2018, Lauren previously held the position of Project Architect at Nicholson Kovalchick (NK) Architects from February 2011 to July 2018. Early career experience includes working as a Designer at DMJM Design from February 2006 to September 2008. Lauren holds a Master of Architecture (MArch) from the University of Washington, where studies were completed from 2008 to 2010, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art History from Occidental College, obtained between 1995 and 1999.
