Varun Vattikonda

Varun Vattikonda is an experienced professional in advancement information services and business intelligence, currently serving as the Associate Director of Advancement Information Services at the Smithsonian Institution since October 2023. Prior to this role, Varun was the Associate Vice President for Advancement Services at Arcadia University, where leadership focused on optimizing business intelligence processes and donor analytics to support fundraising efforts. Varun’s previous experience includes significant contributions as a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst and Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at the University of Illinois Foundation, overseeing BI applications and projects. Earlier roles included data analysis and ERP strategy development at Sam Houston State University. Varun holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science from Sam Houston State University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Texas Tech University.
