John Johnson

CEO at Smoking Gun Interactive

John Johnson has been in the video game industry for over 25 years. John started their career at Electronic Arts Canada in 1995, where they held various lead and management positions. In 2000, they joined Relic Entertainment Inc / THQ Canada as a producer and director of franchise development. John was responsible for producing hit games such as Company of Heroes and Impossible Creatures. In 2007, they left Relic to join Smoking Gun Interactive as CEO. Under their leadership, Smoking Gun has become one of the most successful independent game developers in Canada.

John Johnson has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photograpy and Film from Emily Carr Instutue of Art & Design. John also has a High School/Secondary Diploma and Certificate from Westwood Collegiate.
