Elin Grånäs

Elin Grånäs has experience as a Research and Development Engineer at Smoltek since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher at DESY from November 2014 to October 2019. In their role at DESY, Elin focused on model systems in heterogeneous catalysis, specifically studying the surface structure and chemistry of oxide surfaces and supported metal nanoclusters. Elin utilized various spectroscopic, microscopic, and diffraction techniques for characterization purposes.

Elin Grånäs completed their education history with an extensive academic background in the field of engineering and applied physics. From 2002 to 2009, they pursued their Master's Degree at Umeå University. Following their Master's degree, they enrolled at Lund University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Structural and Chemical Properties of Surfaces.
