Ja-Mes Jones

Ja-Mes Jones is an experienced Senior Project Manager at Smoot Construction Company of Washington DC since June 2023, previously serving as Project Manager and Project Engineer at Smoot Construction from June 2017 to June 2023. Prior to this, Ja-Mes held the position of Director of Facilities at Capstone on Campus Management from July 2016 to June 2017, overseeing a large mixed-use facility and managing budgets, equipment procurement, and compliance training. In a previous role at Catholic Charities of Maryland from July 2011 to July 2016, Ja-Mes acted as Maintenance Supervisor, managing maintenance operations for a HUD-subsidized senior living building. Ja-Mes's career began as a Maintenance Director at Emeritus Senior Living in 2010. Ja-Mes holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Morgan State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the same institution.
