Sophie Stocks

Sophie Stocks has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Sophie started their career as a Trainee Underwriter at Rural Insurance in 2011. Sophie then moved to Civica and worked as a Sales Executive Cloud & Managed Services from November 2011 to October 2012, followed by a role as a UK Account Manager at Cloud & Managed Services from October 2012 to April 2014. In 2014, Sophie joined Clothes For Charity as a Senior Account Manager, responsible for recruiting new charities, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and managing the Clothes For Charity scheme. Sophie worked there until November 2014. Since November 2014, Sophie has been with Smoothwall, where they have held various positions. Sophie started as a National Sales Manager - Independent Schools and then progressed to roles such as Regional Sales Manager - Local Government and Senior Sales Manager - Local Government. Sophie then served as Deputy Head of Department - Enterprise and later as Head Of Northern Sales. In January 2019, Sophie became the Head of Sales at Smoothwall, a role they held until March 2021. Currently, they are working as a Sales Director at Smoothwall.

Sophie Stocks completed their education at the University of Leeds from 2008 to 2011, earning a BA degree in English and Philosophy. Before attending university, they studied at Poynton High Sixth Form College from 2006 to 2008, focusing on A Level English, A Level Art, A Level History, and AS Level Geography. In addition to their formal education, Sophie also obtained various certifications, including Prevent e-learning training course from the Home Office in August 2016, Pitch Perfect Presentation Skills from Turnstone Sales in May 2016, the Strategic Account Development Programme from Turnstone Sales in March 2016, Profitable Management from Turnstone Sales in February 2016, First Aid at Work from St. Johns Ambulance in May 2015, and an AV Underwriting licence from Rural Insurance in November 2011.
