Deniz Armani

Deniz Armani has had experience in various engineering roles throughout their career. They started working as a Senior Technical Staff at HRL Laboratories in June 2005 and stayed until June 2006. They then moved on to Xponent Photonics, where they worked as a Senior Technical Staff from June 2006 to September 2007. During their time at Xponent Photonics, they managed the sourcing, deployment, and operation of production systems and designed and built production-level equipment. After leaving Xponent Photonics, Deniz Armani joined Glenair in September 2007 and held the position of Senior Scientist until October 2013. They were then promoted to the role of Director of Research and Development and stayed in that role until May 2017. Currently, Deniz Armani is working as the Director of Engineering at SMP Engineering Inc, starting from May 2017.

Deniz Armani received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Deniz then pursued a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering at Caltech from 2000 to 2005.
