Sandy Chapin

Sandy Chapin serves as the Director of Marketing & Communications at UMC since April 2018, contributing to the firm's extensive services in facility performance and maintenance. With over 20 years of experience in A/E/C marketing, Sandy has been an active member of SMPS Seattle since September 2006, holding various leadership roles including President, Immediate Past President, and Senior Advisor, where strategic planning and leadership development training are key responsibilities. Previous positions include Marketing Communications Specialist at Stantec and Marketing Communications Manager at Sparling, where brand messaging and targeted communications were prioritized. Sandy holds a BA in English from the University of Washington and an AA in English from Everett Community College.
