Melissa Bailes

Melissa Bailes is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the construction and real estate sectors. Currently serving as Senior Pursuit Manager at Hedrick Brothers Construction, Melissa manages the marketing pursuit team throughout the process, from client research to proposal presentations. As President of SMPS South Florida for the term 2024-2025 and President-Elect for 2023-2024, Melissa actively contributes to the organization’s leadership. Previous roles include Senior Marketing Specialist and Production Specialist at Moss & Associates, where Melissa was involved in proposal development and branding enforcement, and Marketing positions at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and RLC Architects, focusing on business development and marketing strategy. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Florida State University.
