Shahen Markarian

Shahen Markarian currently serves as a Jury of Awards for both the International Awards Associate and the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, contributing expertise to multiple international awards programs including Communicator, Davey, and W3. As Head of Design at SUGARING NYC since February 2023, Shahen oversees design initiatives, while previous roles include Product Designer at Rio Defi and Bitpool, where responsibilities encompassed leading design processes and creating user-centric products. Additional experience includes UI/UX design at NAZAX Consulting and Roll'n'Code, as well as product design for Korzina.org. Shahen holds a degree in UX Design from The Interaction Design Foundation, completed between 2018 and 2019.
