Rob Williams

Rob Williams is currently serving as an Articles Editor and Staff Editor for the SMU Science and Technology Law Review, which publishes articles on legal, economic, and political developments in science and technology. Williams holds a Corporate Counsel Legal Extern position at Gigabit Fiber and is involved in the SMU Dedman School of Law's First Amendment Clinic, where significant contributions include second-chairing a deposition and drafting motions related to legal dismissals. Previous experience includes a Judicial Intern role at the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Texas, a Litigation Summer Associate position at Norton Rose Fulbright, and extensive service in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator and Instructor Pilot. Williams received a Bachelor of Science degree with Merit in Political Science and Government from the United States Naval Academy and is pursuing a law degree at SMU Dedman School of Law, expected to graduate in 2025.
