Matthias Kalkgruber

Matthias Kalkgruber is an accomplished professional in the fields of computer vision and engineering, currently serving as Manager of Computer Vision and Team Lead at Snap Inc. since November 2019. Prior experience includes leading the SLAM-VIO team at DAQRI from October 2016 to November 2019, and roles at PS-Tech B.V. and Technische Universität Graz, where significant contributions included the development of a low-cost 3D interaction device and research in automatic locomotion therapy for infants. Matthias holds multiple master's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Technische Universität Graz, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the same institution.
