Syed Zahid Ahmed

Syed Zahid Ahmed is a Senior SoC Architect at GrAI Matter Labs since November 2016, specializing in ultra-low power, programmable neuromorphic computing for sensor analytics and machine learning. With previous roles as a Senior R&D Engineer at Sorbonne University and the ETIS lab, as well as experience in programmable technologies at LIRMM, Syed has a strong background in system architecture, SoC design, FPGA prototypes, and technical innovations. Syed holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Montpellier and an MSEE in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, complemented by a BSEE with Honours from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila.
